We go through life bearing all sorts of problems and hardships coming to our ways as believers and followers of our Lord Jesus Christ. But we have an assurance, hope, and certainty without a doubt that we will overcome.
The word of the Lord says in Psalm 94:19:
When the cares of the heart are many, your consolations cheer my soul.
There is a fact we need to be conscious of all the time. It is that God is our number one fan. He cares for us because he knows how feeble we are. God knows and understands all that we go through to the slightest and minute details.
That scripture above tells you that we will definitely have a lot of issues of the heart to contend with, personal problems that will shake and test our faith and will even make us doubt the existence and love of our father in heaven.
But that scripture goes on to say; YOUR CONSOLATION CHEER MY SOUL; it means that in the midst of all we go through we can be assured of God’s presence in us cheering us on and giving up deep hope of overcoming what we might be going through at that particular point in time.
One thing you should realize is God is not happy when you’re hurt or downtrodden. He allows what we go through for a purpose which is to draw us nearer to him.
He says in Psalms 94:22;
But the Lord has become my stronghold, and my God the rock of my refuge.
When God gives us victory over our problems, and we know deep down within us that if God had not been our help, our soul would have lived in the land of silence, then we can boldly say that God has become our stronghold and also our refuge.
God saw us through that and will see us through more of whatever we go through.
It’s hard to exhibit faith in the face of some tough circumstances, but it’s what God expects us to do alongside offering consistent prayers till we are given our green card of victory.
Understand clearly that in every bad situation, we are fighting from a place of victory. We are seated with Jesus in the heavenly places far above every principality and power. That’s your identity in Christ and you have to put in the work to pray with faith to obtain victory through every stubborn situation.
I pray that God strengthens our faith today and gives our prayer life wings to mount up as eagles in Jesus’ mighty name.
It is well with you. God bless you in the mighty name of Jesus.
