Watch ye, stand fast in the faith, quit you like men, be strong. Let all your things be done with charity.” 1 Corinthians 16:13-14 KJV
What task has God given you to carry out? What task has He given you to finish? Keep your eyes open, cling to your beliefs, give it all you’ve got, be resolute, and love without ceasing, the MSG translation of 1 Corinthians 16:13–14 states. Have faith that God will provide you with the faith and strength you need to fulfill your promise.
God will guide you. God should guide your careful labor, therefore do that. Let His Word illuminate and guide your way. Give yourselves to Him. Have faith that God will guide you at every stage of life. Have faith that God will honor His commitments. Allow God to carry out His promise through you. Allow God to complete it. Let God fulfill the vision.
Keep your conviction strong. Cling fast to the promises God has made regarding your life. Stay fast to the plans and guidelines God has provided for your life. His Word holds water. His Word is finished. Life is in His Word. Have faith that God will guide you through the valley and give you strength at all times. Decide to trust God’s word. Decide to choose to believe what God is speaking to you. Feast on His Word every day. Feed yourself His Promises continually.
Don’t get resentful. Do not become heartless. Allow God to guide you and soften your heart in all respects. Let God plan and guide your actions. Be alert and vigilant, and maintain your faith (your conviction regarding man’s relationship to God and divine things, preserving the trust and holy zeal produced by faith and a part of it), according to 1 Corinthians 16:13–14 (AMPC). Be brave, act like a man, and get stronger! Let love (genuine love for God and man as motivated by God’s love for us) guide everything you do.
Don’t grow weary. Keep going. Keep growing. Stay humble. Stay pliable. Let God lead you. Let God mature you. Let God develop you. Let God sharpen you. “Be on guard. Stand firm in the faith. Be courageous. Be strong. And do everything with love.” 1 Corinthians 16:13-14 NLT. Be watchful and mindful to do what He’s commanded you to do. Let God prune you. Let God pluck out the things that are not like Him. Let God soften your heart from the inside out. Choose to love others. Let everything that you do be accomplished in love — His Love. Choose to reflect the Love of God in everything that you say and do. Move forward.
Put Your Hand To The Plow.
“And Jesus said unto him, No man, having put his hand to the plow, and looking back, is fit for the kingdom of God.” Luke 9:62 KJV
Put your hand on the plow and don’t look back. God has given you the assignment to complete. Surrender your hands to Him and don’t look back. Galatians 5:1 KJV declares, “Stand fast therefore in the liberty wherewith Christ hath made us free, and be not entangled again with the yoke of bondage.” Don’t let your past entangle your future. Choose to plow forward. Don’t yoke yourself to the bondage of the past. Choose to move forward. Plow forward.
Romans 8:1 KJV declares, “There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.” Let the weight of the past go. Be free from condemnation. Don’t let condemnation entangle you. Don’t let condemnation lord over you. Choose to move beyond the mistakes of your past and keep moving forward. Choose to plow forward. Put your hands on the plow and surrender to God’s Way of doing things. Don’t let the chains of the past entangle and derail your future.
Don’t grow weary. Keep going. Keep growing. Stay humble. Stay pliable. Let God lead you. Let God mature you. Let God develop you. Let God sharpen you. “Be on guard. Stand firm in the faith. Be courageous. Be strong. And do everything with love.” 1 Corinthians 16:13-14 NLT. Be watchful and mindful to do what He’s commanded you to do. Let God prune you.
