Deliverance and Healing are the rights of all children of God. Isn’t it interesting and a beautiful thing to know that as much as God wants us to grow spiritually and to be intimate with him, He also cares about our health, body, and general well-being? You would have thought that God as a Spiritual being only wants to see us Praying, reading his word, evangelizing, and doing all sorts of spiritual activities and he is not bothered about casual things like our looks, body parts,
well-being, and health generally. But No, our God is such a sovereign God, he is such a loving
God, a Good father who cares for everything that concerns his children including what we eat and drink. In fact, God cares about the tiniest details of our life, even the hair on our heads.
Let’s see what the Bible says in 3 John 1:2 (MSG Bible) – “We’re the best of friends, and I pray for good fortune in everything you do, and for your good health – that your everyday affairs prosper, as well as your soul!” Oh! What a wonderful God we have as our Father. There is a provision in Christ Jesus for our Health insurance. The Bible makes us understand that He
(God) has given us everything that pertains to life and Godliness.
In Obadiah 1:17 (KJV), the Bible tells us “But upon mount Zion shall be “deliverance”, and there shall be holiness, and the house of Jacob shall possess their possessions. The question is what is deliverance? Deliverance means to be set free, to be released from anything that impedes movement and freedom.
In the world of today, where sinning has almost become the new norm, which paves way for all manners of problems and troubles that people face. Sin has a lot of friends, when you engage in it, it comes with its friends like sickness, depression, demonic activities, troubles, unexplainable
bad medical conditions, fear, bitterness, and all manners of unrest. Hence, there is a need for Deliverance and Healing. If you are suffering from constant demonic attacks, unexplainable pains, frequent sickness, addiction to pornography, sexual immorality, household wickedness, and the likes, it means you need Deliverance and Healing.
Friend, without deliverance there, cannot be healing. It is the deliverance that paves way for wholesome healing. Deliverance is the front-runner of Healing. Deliverance is the torchbearer that lights up the way for healing. Many people are looking for healing when they are yet to be delivered and that’s is why after taking drugs, the problem persists, it is because they are yet to receive spiritual deliverance.
It is an error to treat a demon-sponsored infirmity with artificial medications. You must first deal with it spiritually and receive deliverance before the application of artificial drugs, then healing
will come. There are many people on the sick-bed that the medical practitioners are yet to diagnose even after several checks and scans. Many people have died due to sicknesses that no medical terms can explain. All these are pointers that except a man receives deliverance, he
will constantly be a patient in the casualty ward.
For Deliverance and Healing to happen, we must call upon the name of the Lord, upon God -the deliverer, who commands Healing as we see in Malachi 4:2 (ECB Bible) –
“But for you who honor me, goodness will shine on you like the sun. There will be healing in its rays. You will
jump around, like calves freed from their stalls
“.Here is a Confession for Deliverance and Healing. Confess with faith in your heart – “Father Lord, you are my God, my Saviour, and the lifter of my head. By your mercies Lord Jesus, I claim my deliverance over every troubler of my Israel, deliver me from the oppression of the wicked, deliver my soul from they that are stronger than me, answer your name in my life, and command your healing upon my body in Jesus name. As of today, I receive the healing balm of Gilead, I plug myself into the resurrection power of my Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. I decree that I am free from every oppression, sickness, and satanic manipulation in Jesus’ name. I say bye to the Spirit of death and hell, I say Yes to the power of the Holy Spirit in which I am sealed and make whole. Let there be wholeness upon all that concerns me in Jesus’ name.
