Deliverance Prayers for a Sound Mind

A sound mind can lead to a sound body and spirit. Unfortunately, many people suffer from spiritual illnesses or have problems with anxiety or depression that they’re unable to shake off on their own. Fortunately, many of these problems can be resolved with the right deliverance prayers.

Lord I Surrender

Start off each day with Jesus by putting your entire life into His capable hands. Ask Him to help you resist temptation, cling to His wisdom and direction, and seek His mercy when you mess up. Let Him be your anchor in stormy seas and your guide as you head towards new horizons. Thank Him for saving you from yourself, every single day. Offer up all of your thoughts, emotions, and actions—and ask Him to work through them as He sees fit. You don’t have to figure it all out on your own; just lean on Jesus and let Him take over (Philippians 4:13).

Say to the Lord, father I surrounder my life to you, Arise and terminate every demonic assignment against my mind in the name of Jesus.

O God, Remove All Fears From Me

What are you afraid of? You’re probably not worried about some little issues that might come your way. But fear might hold you back from many opportunities in life—from public speaking to applying for a job. Whenever we face anxiety-inducing situations, we have three options: We can give in to our fears and avoid those things altogether; we can try to eliminate our fear by working ourselves up, or we can seek God’s help in relieving us of our anxieties. When it comes to dealing with fear, Christians have an advantage over non-believers because God promises to be there for us when anxiety sets in (Psalm 56:3).

Say, my father, arise in your power and remove every plantation of fear in my mind in the name of Jesus.

O God, Guide Me In The Way Of Righteousness

The Psalms tell us that God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in times of trouble. Focusing on these teachings can be hugely beneficial in staying focused on our goals. We know that God’s knowledge and wisdom are perfect; if we humbly seek his guidance, we will always end up closer to our goal than if we didn’t pray at all. For example, if you’re praying about a particular situation but aren’t seeing results despite your efforts, ask God to guide you.

Say, O Lord my father, give me revelations that will guide me daily to leave above my problems in the name of Jesus.

Let No Evil Take Root In My Heart

A clean mind is not just free of anxiety, but free of other evil as well. A clear conscience and a sound mind go hand in hand. But even if you’re facing trials, how can you be sure your sins aren’t driving them? In Psalm 19:12, David says that God’s law is perfect, reviving life to those who find themselves near death. However, verse 14 adds an important caveat: The law of [God] is perfect … so that people who are not godly may be kept from being wise. In other words, sin leaves all sorts of spiritual garbage behind it—shame, despair, fear—that impacts our ability to think clearly and make good decisions.

Say, O Lord my father uproot every demonic and witchcraft plantation in my heart in the name of Jesus.

O God, Baptise my heart with your fire

Tell the Lord wholeheartedly to deliver you from any sinful passions and habits that cause me to sin, such as fear, doubt, worry, or self-pity. Help me develop godly character so that I can use my mind to glorify you. Fill my heart with love for others so that my words and actions may be pleasing to you.

Ask the Holy Spirit to control all your thoughts to the glory of his name.

Lord, daily fill, my heart with the holy spirit

The bible tells us in Ephesians 5:18 that we are to be filled with His Spirit. The power of God is something that you don’t want to go without, For it is God who works in you both to will and to do for His good pleasure. (Philippians 2:13) Therefore, ask God every day to fill your heart with His Spirit so that you can serve Him wholeheartedly. God wants you to be in his army and he has empowered you by giving you spiritual gifts and power uniquely suited to edify his body.

Say, O Lord my father, fill me afresh daily with the power of the holy spirit in the mighty name of Jesus.
